| Packing Instructions for 7ft Shock Mounted Bay Frame Packs |
-
Lay straps freely along the side of the base as shown.
-
Place each end support onto the bolts at the ends of the base. Note the
orientation as shown below.
-
Position the bay frame horizontally (on its side) on the base.
-
Secure the end supports to the base using 3/4" flat washer, lock washer and
nuts. Tighten securely.
-
Loosen the frame side locks on the end supports and butt tightly against the
frame. Tighten securely.
-
Use provided J-bolts, washers and nuts by inserting J-bolts through vertical
slot in the end supports to fasten the frame to the end supports. Use washer
and nuts on exposed end of J-bolt and tighten securely.
-
On smaller packs slide the one-pieced sleeve over the pack to rest on the
runners. On larger packs bring the C-folds around the pack to rest on the
runners.
-
Place the wood blocks with cutouts on top of the frame. Using the squarehead
nails provided, nail through the corrugated sleeve into the side rails, end
supports and the ends of the wood blocks.
-
Place top tray over the entire pack and secure by bringing the straps over the
top and threading them through the buckles. Use the cotter pins provided to
secure the straps.
